Despite the recent delay to our move we are pushing ahead regardless with our planned Open Day.
To mark the conclusion of our proud 106 year history in our current building, and to look forward to the bright future in our new home, Wick High School would like to invite you to an Open Day in ‘the original’ Wick High School on Saturday 10th December 2016 from 10am-3pm.
During this time we will open the doors of this historic building to the general public for the final time in its incredible history. You are invited to tour the school and relive fond memories of this special place as well as having the chance to record these memories forever through our association with The Wick Society’s ‘Wick Voices’ oral history project.
On the day we will have commemorative items for sale including those made from our new Wick High School Tartan; displays of memorabilia and photos from days gone by; an interactive multimedia timeline, which will bring to life the rich history of our school so far, as well as refreshments and food.
Please come to mark the closure of a Caithness landmark and to look towards the next chapter of Wick High School’s rich history.
We look forward to seeing you there!
